A circuit that plays on the contrasts of landscape. Tarangire and its elephants under the baobabs. Lake Manyara, nestled against the cliff of the Great Rift, with its pink flamingos, monkeys, its 400 species of birds, and its lions which, uniquely in Africa, have taken to perching in trees. Then the descent into the Ngorongoro crater, where the Big Five coexist in a closed space of 260 km²! Three days, three radically different atmospheres.
3-day, 2-night private safari.
Early pick-up at your hotel (request an early breakfast at your hotel), then arrival at Zanzibar airport for check-in for an internal flight to Arusha Airport (ARK), departing at 8:00 AM and expected to arrive at 9:15 AM. Upon arrival, you will meet our safari guide and head towards Tarangire National Park for your first day of safari accompanied by a picnic lunch. This park is well-known for the presence of the largest elephants and old baobabs. You can also find other animals such as leopards, lions, hyenas, cheetahs, gazelles, impalas, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, warthogs, as well as many other animal species and varieties of birds.
After the safari, you will leave the park and continue to your lodge “Farm Of Dreams Lodge” or “Mvuli Ngorongoro Lodge” to enjoy the evening, dinner, and spend the night (more information about accommodations in the lodging section below).
After an early breakfast, depart towards the Ngorongoro Crater for a safari with a picnic lunch. The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the best wildlife observation sites in Africa, due to the permanent abundance of wildlife thanks to the continuous presence of water at the bottom of the crater. Upon your arrival at the crater’s edge, you will descend 610 meters to begin your safari. You may observe the rare black rhinoceros, as well as wildebeests, buffaloes, zebras, elands, Grant’s and Thomson’s gazelles, and of course, elephants with massive tusks. The crater also hosts the largest known population of lions, as well as leopards, cheetahs, and scavengers such as spotted hyenas, jackals, and the rare wild dogs. Over 500 bird species have been recorded in the Ngorongoro conservation area, including white pelicans and flamingos.
After the safari, return to your lodge to enjoy the evening, dinner, and spend the night.
