The Serengeti needs no introduction, but it deserves to be understood. It is not a static park: it is a constant movement. Every month of the year, the approximately 2 million wildebeests, zebras, and gazelles of the great migration occupy a different area of the park, from the south where the young are born in February, to the spectacular river crossings at the Mara River in the north in July-August. Coming to the Serengeti means choosing your scene in a show that never stops.
